  브뤼셀의 몰렌베이크 지역이 언론에 비치는 이미지는 지하디즘의 중심지라는 것이다. 하지만 6살 아토스와 그의 친구 아미네에게 이곳은 친숙한 집일뿐이다. 하지만 옆 마을에 폭탄이 터졌을 때 어른들 세상의 잔혹함은 더 선명하게 드러난다. 아토스는 아미네가 이슬람교에 신앙을 가지고 있다는 점을 부러워하며 자신만의 신을 찾고 싶어 한다. 하지만 그의 반 친구 플로는 아미네의 이런 생각에 의문을 제기한다. 그녀는 신을 믿는 사람은 다 미친 사람이라고 확신하고 있다.

  
  

   

  
  

  The district of Molenbeek in Brussels has reputation in media as a center of jihadism, but for six-year-old Aatos and his friend Amine, it is a familiar home. But the brutality of the adult world makes itself known when terrorists detonate a bomb in the neighborhood. Aatos envies Amine’s Muslim faith and looks for his own gods, although his classmate Flo questions him; she is strongly convinced that anyone who believes in God has gone crazy.
