이사 가는 날 Moving day

사회 복지사인 현주는 철거 촌 이주자들 사례관리팀장으로 이주 시 발생하는 어려움을 돕기 위해 대상자 집에 방문상담을 하고 다닌다. 그중 할머니와 단둘이 살고 있는 연아는 집중사례관리대상자로 더 많은 관심과 정을 갖고 있다. 철거 촌에서 아파트로 이사를 하게 된 현주는 전부터 할머니가 장롱이 필요하다고 하였기에 이사하면서 버리는 장롱을 할머니에게 주며 강아지를 가지고 싶어 하던 연아에게 강아지도 준다.
Hyun Ju is a social worker offering counseling service for local people who are forced to relocate. She often goes out for door-to-door visits to listen to the difficulties of local residents. Hyun Ju particularly pays attention to Yuna, a young girl living with her grandmother. When Hyun Ju moves to a new apartment, she leaves a closet for Yuna’s grandmother and a puppy for Yuna.

탈북소녀 영희는 민통선 부근 시골마을에 살면서 북한에 있는 아버지를 항상 그리워한다. 마침 학교에서 인근 군부대에서 주최하는 글라이더 대회 소식을 듣고 우승을 하면 헬기를 탈수 있다는 얘기를 듣고 헬기를 타게 되면 북한에 있는 아버지를 만날 수 있을것이라 믿고 같은 반 비행기 덕후인 의진에게 도움을 요청하여 함께 교내 글라이더 대회 예선에 참가하여 학교 대표로 선발된다.
작품 “글라이더”는 현재 많은 탈북자가 남한으로 유입되는 과정에서 그 가운데 한사람인 영희라는 탈북소녀를 등장시켜 이산가족의 아픔과 분단된 우리나라의 현실을 묘사하였다.
Young Hee, a North Korean defector living near the Civilian Control Line, misses her father whom she left in North. One day, she heard that the army near her house will hold Glider competition and those who win the competition can ride on a helicopter. As Young Hee believes that she can meet her father if she rides the helicopter, she convinces Eui-Jin, who is so into planes, to participate in the competition together as a representative for the school. “Glider” describes the pain and suffering of seperated family and the reality of Korea peninsula.

SunWha’s classmates and teacher secretly sends a request to a language improvement project led by a broadcasting station. Sunwha believes the shooting is just for a documentary film so actively participates in the language improvement program.

Yeon Hee wants to be an actor, but think she is not attractive and smart enough to be one. Also, she barely makes ends meet day to day. Against this background, Yeon Hee mulls over whether to follow her dream or to get real.

사랑받기 위해 태어난 사람 Born to be loved

할머니는 맞벌이 부부인 딸을 위해 매일 아침 손주들을 돌봐주러 딸의 집에 온다. 그러나 학교와 학원 때문에 바쁜 손주들과 밤 늦게까지 일을 하고 오는 딸은 할머니에게 무관심하다. 텅 빈 집에서 매일 같은 할머니의 하루 일과가 반복된다. 할머니는 집에 늦게 들어온 손녀에게 벨 소리를 다운 받아달라고 부탁한다. 손녀는 벨 소리에 잠이 깨 할머니에게 짜증을 내며 방불을 끄러 가다 잠시 할머니를 돌아본다.
A grandma visits her daughter’s house every day to take care of a grand daughter and grand son. However, her grand children are busy going to school and private tutors and her daughter often works until late night, so everyone has no time to spend with her. It is grandma who repeats the same boring routine alone at home. One day, grandma asks her grand daughter download ringtone on her smartphone. The granddaughter gets annoyed because she had to wake up because of grandma’s loud ringtones, but soon finds her grandmother’s sad face.
