  12살 소년 맥스는 가족들보다 친구들이 더 좋다. 톰과 비비안은 학교에서 항상 붙어다니며, 온갖 위기를 헤쳐간다. 비록 엄마는 우울증에 시달리고, 새로운 문제들이 쌓여가지만 맥스는 친구들과 함께 새로운 일들을 도모하면서 나아간다. 친구는 현실을 버티는 강력한 이름이자 세 아이들에게는 혈육 이상의 것을 안겨준다. 도발적이면서도 현실을 극복하는 이름으로.

   

  A 12-year-old boy, Max likes friends more than his family. Tom and Vivian are always together at school and pull themselves out of every crisis in company with each other. Even though Max’s mother is suffering from depression and a new problem appears every day, they always deal with what they have to face together. Friends are a powerful name that supports us whenever we have to endure harsh reality. For these kids, friendship gives them something more than their families can and serves as the provocative way to overcome their reality.
